Matthew 22:37-39
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Ahava in Hebrew – means
To love
Genuine Love
Active not passive
Faithfully and Persistently
Jeremiah 31:3
The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
I have loved you with an everlasting love; that is a profound statement, yet often overlooked. The love of God is eternal, and this is why He desires you to be with Him for all of eternity, achieved through faith in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for your salvation.
Deuteronomy 4:37
And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
When that eternal love is given to you, power and might will emerge to protect you and deliver you from any circumstances.
Deuteronomy 10:12-13
12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to FEAR the Lord thy God, to WALK in all his ways, and to LOVE him, and to SERVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
To AHAVA HIM means:
-To Fear Him
-To Walk with Him
-To Love Him
-To Serve Him
-To Keep His commandments
If you see it closer, to love is in the center and much more elaborate. Giving emphasis on AHAVA.
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
The final manifestation is in the New Testament about the love of God towards us. He first love us, before we love Him.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The statement above is clear and concise. He has not given us the spirit of fear to do things. He gave you power to over power the darkness of this world. To love unconditional so we can have prosperity. He has given us a sound mind, above the mind we already have. Which is very important, if you are born again, look again!
