Love Debunked (Part 6-Chastisement)

Hebrews 12:6-7

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

The transformation from the spirit of the world to the Spirit of God involves a change that turns you into a new creation, shifting your perspective from a worldly view to a spiritual one.

People may not perceive the true reality because they are entrenched in the worldly perspective. The pathway to understanding the real world is through Jesus Christ.

All humans possess a soul consisting of mind, will, and emotions. The mind, in particular, comprises three elements that warrant attention: the conscious, sub-conscious, and unconscious mind. The conscious mind pertains to your awareness, the sub-conscious involves your heart, and the unconscious encompasses actions you undertake unknowingly.

The Soul:
