Matthew 22:37-39
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Let’s begin illustrating who are you in parts: You a spirit, that has a soul that lives in the body.
And your soul is divided in 3 parts:
When a person receives the Holy Spirit by accepting Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, in the blink of an eye, the Kingdom of God resides within.
You will not be you, but the new you. you are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
When you say all, you are giving your whole, full and complete. Nothing left. All is surrendered.
Matthew 22:38
This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
James 2:8
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
This means you are not yourself that is loving others, because you gave it all to God.
Loving others from God means you are loving unconditional.
